Is Network Marketing Really the Best Business?

If you read my last Blog, (Please go and read it if you haven’t yet done so), you probably agree that doing a business is better than doing a 9 to 5 job, but you’re probably still thinking of your cooking skills, craft skills or services you can sell! Wait till you read this blog.

Is it Network Marketing or Traditional Business, which is better?

You may think that any business has the same benefits over a 9-5 job. However, do you know that network marketing is better than a traditional business too!

When you are in a network marketing business, you don’t create your own product, you are using the products of an already well branded company. And this company has a proven system to handle inventory and payments. There is minimal start-up costs and overhead costs. Compare with leasing a shop, monthly rents, costs of stocking inventory, marketing, utility costs such as electricity bills, furnitures etc. Well, you incur nothing of this sort in a network marketing business. Moreover, you have the flexibility. You can do it online, you can choose when to work, where to work and how to work! Infact, I can say that a traditional business can actually tie you down more than a 9 to 5 job!

Infact, with my network marketing business, I choose to work from home when I can be with my family all day and also when I am home schooling my kids in this pandemic! Win – Win! I have also worked at times in my car, in a coffee shop and when I am holidaying. All I am really responsible for is generating orders and provide quality support to my clients. The company I work with also supports me and backs me up on the essential customer support. We don’t worry about creating the product, stocking them or delivering them! We don’t have to be open 8 hrs, we don’t slog! All we need is a smart phone, or a laptop with a stable internet connection! Wohoo!

But have you heard that Network Marketing is a Pyramid scheme, only the people on top make money! Is that correct?

That is very incorrect! Pyramid schemes are not only illegal; they are a waste of money and time. Because pyramid schemes rely on recruitment of new members to bring in money, the schemes often collapse when the pool of potential recruits dries up due to market saturation. In Pyramid schemes people at the top of the pyramid make money from the fees of people lower down, rather than selling a legitimate product.

Multi-level Marketing (MLM) is a marketing strategy designed to promote a product through distributors, offering multiple levels of compensation.

MLM offers products whereas Pyramid schemes do not. Commissions are paid on sale of products and not on enrolments; MLM has a hierarchical commission set up on the sales of products, whereas pyramid schemes are based solely on new enrolments.

Pyramid schemes are fraudulent schemes, disguising as an MLM strategy. The difference between a pyramid scheme and a lawful MLM program is that there is no real product that is sold in a pyramid scheme, and commissions are based only on the number of new individuals one introduces into the scheme.

The main idea behind the MLM strategy is to promote maximum number of distributors for the product and exponentially increase the sales force. The promoters get commission on the sale of the product as well as compensation for sales their recruits make Thus, the compensation plan in multi-level marketing is structured such that commission is paid to individuals at multiple levels when a single sale is made and commission depends on the total volume of sales generated.

In the case of pyramid schemes, money is charged simply for enrolling other people into the scheme and no real product is actually sold. Only a few people (those who are involved in starting the scheme) make money, and when no new individuals can be recruited, the scheme fails and most of the promoters, except the top ones lose their money.

What about Affiliate Marketing over Network Marketing?!

Affiliate marketing, as the name suggests is all about earning commissions for the products you sell for another company. Up to this point, it can look similar to network marketing and it does look like it has the same advantages over a 9 to 5 job and traditional business. However, there are actually some key advantages that a network marketing business brings in over an affiliate marketing.

When you are in Network Marketing, you get access to all the products to sell from the company you are associated with. Your customers may buy a single product or many. They only have to place one order and incur one shipping charge. Not all affiliate marketing programs offer this advantage.

Now here comes the key difference: In affiliate marketing your earnings are limited to 4% – 6% commissions for the products you sell. In network marketing business it is much more than that!! In the company I am associated with for instance I can earn up to 50% for every retail product sale, 25% for wholesale product sale and 5 % in Volume rebates and commissions plus up to 7% in production bonuses and also some additional Annual bonuses. The earning potential is limitless. Enquire with me to know more about my company.

As if to end this subject on a high note, here comes the icing on my soft chocolate cake, have you dreamt of earning while sleeping? It’s called building a residual income. Well that is a possibility only in network marketing. Whilst you are sleeping, the team that you built in the other corner of the world is busy working and sending pay checks to your bank! I earn a percentage from several levels of distributors under me!

So, if like me, you want to dictate your day, and choose how you want to spend it, and be your own boss, then come and connect with me,

I will show you how you can become independent in your life. Whilst I have outlined all the benefits of Network marketing, I must also admit that there is not guarantee that you will make money in network marketing UNLESS you are ready to put in the time and effort to generate the income.
