Leeli is a sweet 8 year old girl who loves dogs. And thats what makes that show feel so real, you feel the weight of it. Andrew Peterson: If I compare that to that scene in Return of the Jedi when the Emperor and Luke are having their final showdown, and Luke is looking out the window and he sees the battle happening a long way away, and you know that Han Solo and Lando and theyre all fighting, and you love these characters. Talk about having an agenda. I really didnt like the abrupt ending, though. Arriving back at the ruins of Castle Rysen, the family again gave thanks to the Maker for restoring Janner. And whether or not we see it in our generation, or it happens later, we trust that the author of the story is good. Something that intrigued me is that it felt to me like a lot of the time, Podo and Nia, you dont actually get to see their interior life as much, which is kind of a plot necessity in the first book, especially. The bedrock of what those guys were writing from was Norse mythology, and the classics; that was kind of the stuff that underlies what they were writing. Fortunately, the epilogue makes it better by implying that Kalmar has found a way to bring him back to life. i love those books so much. Janner and his family pray. And in order for that to work, there had to be a paper trail, so to speak, of how they became who they became, because we all have it in us. If you have not read the whole series, you may want to save this until you have finished it. But theres a good reason for that, from a practical standpoint. But for me, I would say that I wasnt reading the classics, I didnt have anything close to a classical education, but the Bible was always there. More on that later. Theres a lot of well silliness, especially in the early parts the sort of stuff that makes little boys cackle (which worked out, as all I had were little boys).
